How long is piece of string!?

The manager, God knows.

Of the players I'd only realistically even want to retain a handful at best.

But even then it depends what is in the contracts they have. If they have built wage drops on relegation or even release clauses will they want to stay? I'd imagine if they don't some might, take Trevor Carson as an example location was a prime reason why he joined the club in the first place if he's not losing out financially I'd imagine he'd stay. Apart from youngsters I'd only really want to keep Carson, Thomas, Amond, Alessandra and Magnay who would all be decent players the next level down. Possibly Donnelly based on early form when he didn't play full back. The rest I'm not losing a great deal of sleep about.

I imagine we will try and sell Amond, Thomas & Carson. Expect the likes of Walker, Green, Blackford, Richards etc to be 1st team or at least mainstays in the squad.

If that's our future, sorry, there is no future.

You want to hope Bates isnt left to make the decisions. He probably wouldnt be very good at putting his mates out of a job.

Seen as he is one of the out contract players and was actually told by the previous manager he was on his way I doubt he is now presiding over the retained list!

Where's Danny Wilson's tombola machine? We can choose one of the fans on Saturday to sort the retained list

For me you keep the players we signed from the Vanawhatever, They will know their way around that league.

Bates, No brainer goodbye. Should have played himself last week, Lead by example.

Gaffer: Harrison, Knows players AND is capable of motavating them.

Bring the youngsters on its the future.

As for other clubs buying players, Would you.
When jones left, Thomas issued a statement, Which to me said that when he goes onto the
Pitch he is going to play his OWN game, Not whats required of him.

In fairness to Thomas he said Jones was not playing to his strengths, so it resulted in him being innefective in every game......something bore out in the results that followed.

I remember John Gregory at Aston Villa playing David Ginola as a centre half just to humiliate him, something I felt Jones was close to doing to Thomas.

Whilst Deverdics clearly isn't up to league standard, he was hardly shite in the Conference, so I'd keep him.....IF he is to be played in the position he was decent for Dover in. If not, there's no point.

All of our better players will no doubt fuck off. With that in mind I'd probably keep a few of the players that if we'd stayed up I'd have binned.

I can't see the likes of Carson, Thomas and Alessandra staying with us. Dunno about Walker as I'm not sure he'd want to go. Same with Hawkins....how good a player would he be in the Conference?

I think one thing we haven't considered and how could we because I can't imagine many of us have witnessed Conference football with any regularity? but....I think it's going to be a massive shock for us how good the other sides are and how good we're going to have tp be to get anywhere near the play offs.
