Hartlepool United Supporters Trust Board would like to wish Pam Duxbury, the new CEO of Hartlepool United Football Club, well in her new venture and appreciate her forthright and timely communication with the Trust Board in relation to Gary Coxall’s resignation and the Club’s future plans. We are also pleased to finally say that a working partnership is now established between the fans and the Club.

For the immediate future we would ask all fans to get behind the team on Saturday and hope they are able to secure league football for next season.
HUST will be holding an open meeting at 8pm on Thursday 25th May 2017, venue to be confirmed.

There is no viable reason not to join now.

There are still concerns but not with the trust.

I wouldn't be buying a season ticket just yet not whilst billy bullshitter still owns half the club.

I know where that early income would end up going.

But I have every faith in the people behind the trust and for that reason I am in.

Irrespective of what happens on Saturday the club will need a working budget to build a team for next season. The challenge will be to separate current debt from new income. The trust will need to work with Pam to find a way to hold future income in a place that is outside the grasp of the debt before it can recommend that season tickets are bought. There is also the question of what happens to any fees we get for Carson or Thomas. All of this may not be easy for Pam since she represents the debt. This will prove how committed she is to a future viable club (and return on her investment) or is she just after getting her money back. Thought might have to be given to the setting up of a new HUFC company that operates the club remote from the historic debt side. Not an easy task I'm sure, but it will clarify who's in for the long haul and who is not. Legal advise will be required and could be expensive but this is a one of chance to get it right.

Brilliant news, well done the trust leaders. If only the events of the last seven days had happened just four weeks ago.

Further to this, there's been no mention of Operations Director Mark Burrows. Are he and Pam the Board now?
