Brazilian ex-Bristol City keeper is joining as Goalkeeper coach apparently, also registering as a player.

He's 42 next month, so I'm guessing that the playing registration is just for cover.

I think Tim Sperevik had Brazilian roots, he kept some mandioca in the kitchen for special occasions.
