Look certain to be coming down at the end of this season. Should bring a fair few fans if we manage to avoid the drop.

Where do they play now? Have Wasps let them share their old ground?

Ha! If they're lucky.

Yes Coventry City who wear washed out blue shirts. The first English club to have a an all seater stadium Jimmy Hill et al. Also remember them and Bristol City fixing a first division match to send Sunderland down. Everton v Sunderland and Coventry v Bristol City who put back their kick off when Sunderland were losing knowing that a draw would keep both up and it finished 2-2 with a farcial last 15 minutes. On a more personal level I remember when they beat Pools 1-0 at Highfield Road in the League Cup in '72 and Coyne for Pools had a goal disallowed. And didn't they walk all over Pools 5-0 at The Vic more recently? One plus is they will fill the Rink End. Bring on the Sky Blues.

Russell Slade given the boot today. 10th manager since their "owners" took over and 3 wins out of 16 games plus a wembley final.

I remember the anguish on their messageboard when they were about to move from Highfield Road to their shiny new Ricoh stadium that, as they were in danger of being relegated from the championship, they might end up playing their first game there against some League one shite like Hartlepool. They were also one of the Premier elite clubs that didn't approve of a sharing of money across the football league. Ah I can almost hear the sound of 'you're not famous anymore'.

There's a reason to not feel sorry for them although that decision maker will be long gone.

I did enjoy a trip to Highfield Road once. I seem to remember a strange dug out set up with a look out window set up on top.
