I am not a great contributor but really enjoy all the stuff on here. I just wanted to say how sad it all seems now. I remember the serial re-election days when my Dad started taking me at aged 8 (me not him). Even then there was some pride in the team including Ray Bilcliff after his shift down the pit. Now we just seem to have conveyor belt players with some 'style' but no quality. A Chairman who hasn't the faintest interest in the 'club' and will walk away unless we escape yet again - good riddance. After 57 years of watching I am not really sure I can take much more......it's the hope that kills you.

In nautical terms, there's no one on the bridge, the lifeboats have been sold and the crew just want the voyage to end, but it may take a while as the owner of the ship has sold the fuel as well as the radio to send an SOS.
We're heading in a direction, but not in the direction intended. The new skipper's on board for this voyage but the ships owner can't be contacted and Cock Up Cruises have ceased advertising.
It's making the closing days of Kens trips around the bay look positively enjoyable.
