Maybe someone at the club can work out who signed devante Rodney, if he's rated by anyone and if their is a position for him and give him a run out?

If I was a fringe player like nearny Rodney etc I'd be banging on the door n asking why we're only naming 6 subs when we actually have players available

Don't most players' contracts have a form of appearance money linked to appearing on the bench/being in first team squad?

This is really bad news in my opinion. Energetic, happy to try to take on his man with a decent amount of ability to beat him as well and if nothing else, if one player in the side is busting a gut, it can help to inspire those around them to put a shift in too.

Like I said, there are other, more important reasons why we are in the clarts, but the long injury lay-offs to Magnay, Carson, Jones, Thomas, Fewster, now Nelson, etc. are definitely not helping the cause.

Most teams in the face of long term injuries would add to the squad in January not do what we did, so we can hardly bemoan luck every team picks them up over a season. Imagine Scott Harrison got injured or sent off in the next couple of weeks!? What are we doing then? Is Sam Collins still registered?

I actually dont think he ever officially announced his retirement. :laugh:

There are still a couple of people who would see no problem if it occured and would say its no need for panic :laugh:

This is bad news for the lad he seemed really keen and happy to be here but I don't think ultimately this news will have any impact between now and the end of the season. 19 year old kids will not get us out of this mess.

Tshibola, Hugill, Barmby, Burgess, Jackson, Gray cant have been much older than him, if only we tied a few up permanently.
