I appreciate this isn't life and death but fuck me, everything Pools really is bollocks at the moment.

Financial meltdown.

Very rubbish team/squad.

Miserable manager.

Depressed fans.

Can anyone offer anything positive please? Must be Pools related.

Thanks

You won't have to suffer for much longer? One way or another?

Our worst defeat to Plymouth at home was 8-1 - it won't be that bad on Saturday?

At least we don't have to worry about squad rotation for the Europa League

That must be a right royal pain in the arse

Although I must qualify that by saying the rink end might not be there by the time the 5* luxury flats are built.

Pools will be playing at Queens meadow, or somewhere.

We blame the players, but something seemed to happen at the start of the season that seemed to put players and managers attitude on a downer.
It's like the club is a hall of mirrors where nothing makes sense.
The club is like a ship drifting towards the rocks and someone has sold the scrapping rights instead of fixing the engine.

Aye, in a 800 seat community stadium. State of the art for the Northern League.

We could potentially have a strong squad for the division next season. Depending on how many more players are being shipped out without replacements of course.

I'd still be quite sad at 7-1 though

You have the mental strength character and intelligence to support your local team, and are not a sad insecure feeble minded glory supporter wearing some polyester monstrosity that cost you £60 and never actually going to a real football match, cos real fans show there support by watching sky sports. However bad Pools get, you are in an infinitely better position than people like that.

Fuck coxall and his ways

Stay away for the next home game, and use the £20 to join the trust instead - short term pain, long term saviour.

If you keep your ticket stubs for the next 6 home games you will get first dibs on a semi detached property on the mill house village.

Yikes I was there for that! Paul Dalton scoring for Plymouth. Nicky Peverell getting the least pleasing Pools goal ever.

Dear Shilts,

The south coast is pleasant at times and some options for Pools to visit there next season. And of course old friends Seagul, Seagul, Seagul aka old friends Torquay United although they like us are a bit guano at the moment.

Fairly positive. I like the south coast and having been to Exeter and Plymouth it would be nice to complete the set with Torquay.

Jeez, I'm not made of money. For that prime location I'll be priced out.

I just hope the jet setters who stop over in the luxury hotel aren't too rowdy when they're drinking cameron's champagne and eating North sea caviar.

Whilst we are on though:

Lets just say the following happens:

The Council/Coxall agree on the MillHouse masterplan.

Bear with me:

The whole area is to be regenerated, and they both agree that Coxall gets some land, elsewhere, to house Pools.

Hartlepool loses, its leisure centre, its bowls club, its skate park, and its football ground.

What exactly does that leave to town left with?

Can someone who is all for this thing, and I know you are reading and are out there, please explain to me what or how this benefits Hartlepool?

Come on now, dont be shy. Tell me your good feelings.

I can be patient.

Hartlepool will be outgrown by surrounding villages of Wynayrd and Bishop Cuthbert. The town folk will be forced to swim round the pensioners at Hartfields swimming pool and then head up to Wynyard football club to see northern league leaders Hartlepool at the Sage n Toblerone stadium.
