Have you adjusted your wage budget to increase transfer funds? I did that in league one and had a 350k warchest.

Also when it comes to renewing contracts, always offer lower wages than previous and bulk it up with extras. Lowers wages allowing more money to buy people

Aye done all that, i doubt the £500k or whatever it would be would be enough for survival though.

I broke the clubs transfer record slightly. £17m for some cm from Herthe Berlin.

Only got Fewster left from our starting squad and he just broke the clubs goal record.

9th after 7 games

Just had a chat withMoyes the Sunderland Manager and he isn't happy as I haven't played the loanee left back as a regular. Problem is when he came he wasn't match fit and Carroll has been outstanding. If I don't play the youngster will it affect future possible loans? Don't want to drop Carroll as is the next best player after Walker ATM.

Nah dont think it affects future loans to be honest. Although not sure I ever went back to a club after not playing one mind.

Iv managed to beat Arsenal and Liverpool so far. Pretty much sat 10th - 12th and 10 games left. Should surive easy as bottom 3 well adrift.

Just moved into newly upgraded Vic Park with £16k capacity.

Well 10 losses in a row and no win in last 13 has left me 3 points above relegation with 6 left. Been fucked over with injuries and morale very low.

I'm up to first in L2.
Questions
1) How come I keep getting bonuses for Hattrick scored, wins in a row etc, is it part of the extra's on my exec edition or normal, and what do I do with them or how do I redeem them?
2) I've employed someone, maybe a director of football who keeps putting in offers for players, so I don't know who/what position they play. I may have actually signed a few right backs (honestly). How do I manage this?
3) How come I can play players in the U'18s, U'23's and first team squad in the same day?

I need answers.

They are just achievements your getting for hat tricks etc. There's a few hundred. Just an added incentive to do them all.

Sack your director of football. Or if you can't go to the bit where you select people's roles etc. (Can't think what it's called without opening game) but you may have someone selected to sign players. You want to put that setting to yourself.

Cos you can.

Haven't had time to play it the last week so still in my 3rd season, 16th in championship and can't seem to win at all. It's weird though because I'm in the 6th round of the FA Cup after beating two prem teams including 3-1 against arsenal.
Game screwed me over a bit like, had a young midfielder who I signed for £10k from TNS and my director of football sorted the deal out, he's only 17 but a 5 star potential to be a good prem midfielder. Southampton bid £2.1m for him and Coxall said it was too good to turn down, he went to Southampton but TNS got half of that!

I only have one as they help move on anyone I place on the transfer/loan list. Also for contract renewals.

Thing is I started so well it was only that last defeat by Bournemouth that put me in the relegation zone for the first time!

Lost the next two an all and was dead and buried so took the Everton job that was offered to me who were 2nd in Championship with 2 games left. Got another title on my CV.

Lots of my good players at pools had cheap relegation release clauses which I will be activating at Everton :)

I think it's a really good idea to sign the players who got relegated the season before. Historically it's a brilliant idea.

They were the players who had me sitting pretty in the top 8 and beating Arsenal/Man City etc but got fucked up with injuries and missed the bad run so no blame tied to them

It's a genius move by Everton to employ a manager and players who haven't won a game in 3 months.

Haha fuck off.

3 promotions in 4 season with Pools and they could see the bad run was down to injuries and Coxall still adored me. Not once did they say they were disappointed with me etc.

Im still held in high regard and even more so since getting title for Everton too :)

Well first season with Everton in Premiership and finished 5th. Was getting whinged at for not playing a possession style of football so changed to a 4-1-2-2-1. 13 team instructions - play out from the back, short passing, wingbacks to overlap, work ball into box, high defensive line, strong tackling etc etc and went unbeaten for last 22 games (1 loss in 25 with that formation) and usually average 65% possession even against the top 4.

Got some Guinea midfielder (Silva) who banged in 18 goals and 18 assists.

Well i don't know what the hell happened but my game just stopped loading, gutted as I was starting to win a few games in the championship. Even the back up games won't load, had to reinstall FM17. Going to start again with Pools.

Think I'd cry if that happened to me. Won EUFA Cup first time
Of asking with Swansea and finished 6th. Wonder kid striker I have had asked to leave if we didn't qualify for Champions League so when 4th became out of reach he asked to leave again on that basis. Even though I still had EUFA final to play which carried a Champ spot.

Useless fuckers.

I'm in the same as joe Mac. Had to put FM on me new laptop, struggling in pre season and trying to find some freebies/hot prospects. Managed to sign the young American keeper again.

12 games, 14 points and struggling. Have the biggest injury list in the history of injury lists, the free signings are playing crap and all the young loanees look out of their depth! Is this art immitating reality? On he plus side we are meeting FFP regulations!

I think there must be some right Bulls*****rs on this site. A manager of my calibre and Pools are only 13th on 41 points well over halfway through the season, no where near promotion or relegation yet meeting FFP regs, loanees and freebies still crap and still having the biggest injury list in the history of football. YET people on here have "alleged" to have got Pools promoted a division or 2??????

What am I doing wrong?

Got Pools to Prem but left when about to take em down. Jumped ship to take Swansea into Prem, won EUFA cup with them and finished 6th. Quarters of Champs League, then left to take Chelsea job. Back to back titles and Semi of Champs League twice. Closest title challenger is Swansea after I put a class team in place for them. Pools back into Prem under bald ex Chelsea midfielder from Portugal whose name escapes me.

Not won Champs League yet but game seems fairly easy to me.
