I have a couple of dongles on the Three network. Both have had blinking lights for about 36 hours now and won't connect to the interweb. Same for everyone?
I'm in Bishop Cuthbert btw.

Are them dongles any good like? The internet speeds in Bishop Cuthbert are slower than the old dial up.

Thanks for the reply.

Tom, Sky Fibre has been available in BC for over a year now. I'm getting 25mb download speeds.
Great streaming on Now TV etc.

Dongles are fine (when they work) for light browsing. They use too much data for streaming.
But Amazon sell sim card that contain 24gb of data valid for 2 years (if don't use it all first) for about £28. Dongle not included.

They 'don't have any ports available in the cabinet' apparently. They keep telling me it's getting upgraded soon though. So is the cabinet for BT Fibre, and Virgin are 'going to be in my area soon'.

I'm lucky to get 1mb download speed.

Although, despite being so low, my daughter can watch her films on Kodi no problem, streaming SD channels works, and Xbox Live runs smoothly. It's browsing the internet, youtube, facebook, twitter etc that take an age to load. Oh, but god forbid I have more than one device using it, doesn't even load up this site.
