From what I have heard... the stories of an ex premier league manager taking over is correct. Quite where the money from all this is coming from I have no idea, but the bloke I met tonight was adamant and the name so left field seemed very believable. He said it would be confirmed this morning he had gone so easy way to see if he was on the mark.

Giving this team to an ex Premiership manager would be like asking Picasso to work his magic with some shitty crayons.

Don't get me wrong it could be a useful move for the club, he'd also be more experienced with football club owners and would hopefully be able to see straight thorough anything untoward.

Why haven't we heard from 'Brian Clough'? Is he standing on Belle Vue roundabout with his binoculars?

I will not believe any of this until I've heard from the soothsayer.........................

Three days after his birthday? He's not having a good year is he, what with everything else that's allegedly gone on.

It is never good to see someone lose their job - but at least we can now look forwards with some hope (subject to GC and HMRC).............

Well Hignett was appointed the same day that Moore left last year.

Feel a bit better knowing stakes were capped at a tenner

Yep, the minute i entered £20 it said it was capped at £10 for this particular market.

You not reckon skybet will run odds? Normally they do for us..

Dave Jones, the former Wolves and Southampton boss, went from 16/1 to 1/3 with bookmakers Betvictor and the book is now closed.
I bet they didn't even take more than a tenner in total!

So you reckon I was the lucky one? Got the receipt for 10 pound on 16/1!

Yes, I reckon you were the one that suspended the market.
They clearly did not do their homework and as soon as someone placed a bet (and they would not have allowed big stakes), they suspended the market.

Was 16-1 when I added the bet and then it went to 10-1 as I clicked on bet, I had to click bet again to acknowledge the odds had changed, then it was 3-1 :(

Shows you how lazy the bookies have become!
Would anyone on here offered 16/1?
See if betfair will put a market up.
Just in case, it will appear here:

If you were messaging them asking if u can back a certain manager even before we sacked Hignett then I suspect u will only have made them suspicious you knew something.

Appointing someone who hasn't managed since 2013? Sounds like us giving Colin Todd a job.....
