I assumed that was Michael Brown?

Did he get jealous of someone looking so much like him that he wanted him shipped out?

I find it strange that we were openly introduced to this Mark Burrows guy (where has he gone?). But never introduced to one of our directors!

My bad, usually the guy from the football club is on the left.

The loanee from Fulham is Cavanagh and I bet he will be released this year, therefore we snap him up for nowt, saw enough in him on Saturday to see he is a massive improvement on Carroll.

Anyone even only looking at highlights will have seen Carroll and Toto were responsible for more than their fair share of goals.

Toto was signed by his former manager, everyone who has seen him regularly thinks he's terrible apart from said manager. Carroll has a player inside him, not in a Tommy Butler way allegedly, but for whatever reason that hasn't been evident under Hignett.

Are we better off without them? Should we be worried we're lowering the wage bill and not signing permanent replacements?
I'd say yes to both. Ill happily get monkeybutt's nose tattooed if I'm wrong but the only thing in Davy Jones' locker will be a carcass of football club if things don't change.

You decide not to debate the point, but make a comment that I assume meant you already were aware of the problem I pointed out. There!

Tree asked why we were signing these young kids. I gave him what I thought the reason would be. At no point did I say it was the right thing to do or what was needed. You obviously saw my post as me agreeing that it was the right way forward, which I wasn't.

What next, car boot sales, buy one get one free, players on eBay?
There's just an uncomfortable air of uncertainty hanging over the club.

Well, I don't care, my opinion is two players who have been in and out of losing side that has conceded the most (haven't checked this) goals in the league, despite having arguably the best keeper in the league behind them, have been sold for money. Seems good business for me, yes we need better replacements, but if somebody makes an offer for a player who has been inconsistent at best, I'd rather we made the move.

My glass is half full.

With Carroll going, how many left backs does that leave us with? We need Colin Cooper to come in as a consultant and sort this out.

Cast your minds back to when GC took over.
he said if we ended up in the conference he had a plan B

There,s no doubt in my mind we will find out what plan B is.

One thing i know for sure kids will not get you out of a
relagation battle.

We are waiting for plan A to be announced, if we do have this January announcement I reckon it'll be published at 3am. Overnight announcements are all the rage.

Carroll was horseshit. The only way there would ever be a footballer in him would be in a Tommy Butler way.

Regardless of any are we skint aren't we skint arguments getting that lump off the wage bill and ensuring we never have to see him in a Pools kit again is bloody good news.

He reminds me of most full backs at this level. Positionally suspect. Decent going forward. Big lightweight.

It's as if they are made in a factory.

Not sure we will get much better though, he had ability but was raw too. Maybe with some solid coaching he will improve.

People can slate him but just like toto he's signed for a team above us, and started playing straight away.
