I'm on a betting group on facebook where there's a punter with the name "lovesa bet" so I find this all a bit daft really.

Facebook is very quickly becoming the internet as we know it. It's now a messageboard, chatroom, games platform, advertising space and news aggregator. I was also going to say entertainment platform but those live videos of people doing stuff whilst slipping into shot something they've recently bought etc. are just narcissistic in the extreme. I'll say bragging platform.

Radio X have a feature called "Humble brag of the week". Ellis James and John Robins just take the piss out of people who complain about something in a thinly veiled brag about their lives or possessions, very funny.
