Am I missing something? He's at one of the biggest clubs in the world, he's got one of the highest regarded managers in the world, yet he's dropped for the first two games of the season and it looks like he's going to bail out.

Surely he won't get a better deal anywhere else, I'd shut up, knuckle down and wait for my chance to come.

Cant fault him for wanting first team football though. Being dropped for that utter clown must seriously shatter your confidence.

He aint good enough for a team like Man City imo anyway so should count his blessings he got as many games as he did.

Hart is a top keeper, a few mistakes won't change that. You'd think he was absolutely hopeless the way people have gone on since the summer.

He'll have a long queue of clubs wanting to sign him if he's available for transfer, which isn't up to him. If the manager doesn't fancy him then so be it he's paid lot of money to make big decisions. Pep probably likes his keepers to be able to play like an eleventh outfield player. If the manager doesn't rate you then you have to look elsewhere I wouldn't blame Hart or the manager, it's just football. I heard that complete and utter bellend Joey Barton whining about how he's been badly treated. Get real you cocksocket.

It made me laugh when Sky Sports compared Harts passing accuracy (55% or something) to Barcas keeper (88% or summit).

Any keeper in the world should have at least 88% if they are told never to kick it long but just pass it 10 yards everytime you have it.

They then compared two Arsenal targets using stats from Football Manager

Had Sky on this morning and there was the usual blizzard of stats.

Who needs scouting reports or even to watch a player in a single game when you can look up that he scores a goal every 233 minutes and has 83% passing accuracy?

It's getting more like NFL coverage every week. From what I hear, Nathan Thomas's rushing yardage was poor last night!

I agree completely. He had a shocking Euro's, but that doesn't write off everything he's done previously for club and country, he's been one of the best keepers in the league for years now, shame people have short memories. He's not a world class keeper, but he's certainly in the tier below that.

Many a club will want him and he'd be a good signing for them. I don't blame him for wanting to leave, Caballero is shite and it's an insult that Guardiola is playing him ahead of Hart. Especially with the shit excuse of he has better distribution.

What an absolute tool. He is saying it's disgusting how Joe Hart is being treat, it's not is it, a new manager has come in and decided to try a new goalkeeper.

my heart bleeds for him. try being a div.2 player, get a free transfer and then having to play part time football, then he,d know what the real world is like.

Thing is Joe Hart hasn't actually passed comment on the matter, he doesn't seem to be doing much wrong. It's just being blown out of proportion because he had a dodgy tournament. It's 2 matches he hasn't been selected for, he hasn't exactly been banished to train with the kids and not even make the bench.

Joey Barton is a clever guy though isn't he? He's at the end of his playing career and knows his next career is the media, you don't get contacted for comments if you say everything is fine and there's nothing happening. Talksport is based on making non stories sound like something more interesting.

I'm sorry I could have sworn I've just seen the words 'Joey Barton' and 'clever' in the same sentence!?

He likes to think he's clever trying to use long words and take an interest in politics. He is a complete and utter fuckwit. He'll become even worse now he's retired from competitive football.

Clever is subjective, what comes out of his mouth isn't clever, the fact he's speaking it, and earning money from it, is.

In his mind he thinks he is some sort of intellectual who is very philosophical but that was scuppered when he embarrassed himself on Question Time.

He is clever in a sense because he knows every now and then he has to say something controversial/over the top to keep himself relevant.

he also has a book out in november he will soon start to push so expect too see a lot more from him.

Disgusting treatment by a manager is the employees of respondez who turned up for work one day to find the building closed and a notice on the door saying they no longer had a job.

Working mothers n fathers who lived month by month and didnt know how they were gunna pay the mortgage or feed the kids next month.

Thats truly disgusting.

Time for a bit of perspective joseph.

Garlands announcing they closed with immediate effect and everyone get outside was pretty disgusting.

Although that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, was unemployed for the entire World Cup 2010 and never missed a game, went to Thailand for a month then 2 days after getting back got a new job.

Hart is overrated. It's no surprise he's been dropped.
