As above. I was told to put some Soda Crystals in an put machine on a cycle(not a bike). Does it work? Also I normally wash at 40, do I need a warmer heat and where do I put the crystals, in the machine or in the powder/softner area?
Any help would be appreciated as there is a slight smell from said machine, although clothes etc smell fine and are clean after washing.

Right , put a tablespoon of soda crystals in the soap drawer in every wash it definitely works we used to have to buy a washer every couple of years since we did this it been few years still going my mate told me his daughter has fish shops and they used to be buying washers every year due to the amount of cloths uniforms ect , I hope this helps it keep all working parts clean and lime free. ,buy the way home bargains its 69p a bag!
