I have never really took notice of how much my bills are but the last few have been sky high £350 the last quarter and this one was £260 it seems a awful lot what do you lot pay ?

there is 4 of us in the house

Haven't got a meter but this seems high to me.

In a house of 5. 3 kids so washing machine on every day.

Water bill this year was £350 roughly.

It looks as though you have a leak somewhere in the house. Even a slight leak can cause your bills to rocket. Check your toilet.

If it is your home then check your buildings policy. It may cover tracing and accessing leaks. It definitely sounds like you have a leak, or a knackered meter

We've been on a meter since 2012 two young kids and the Mrs , baths, showers the lot pay between £120 to £150 a quarter that's a four bed house. Sounds like you've got a leak. We had a dodgy toilet cistern before and it added a lot onto the meter
