This is fact.

Even if correct 70k for pretty much nothing is good business. If it's paid for the two defensive additions we have to be happy with that, two players we may not have otherwise afforded.

So do you believe that is £70k a year or for all 3 years?

The name is still there. It will always will be to those that matter. It's still the same ground in the same place with the same team and same fans. For three measly years, a mere blink in our hundred plus years existence it'll be referred to as something else in a couple of nooks and crannies of the media. Many clubs (including somevery successful ones) around the country are bringing in money from their stadium name and have been enjoying the income from it for years. We are merely showing ambition to be amongst them. A little perspective please.

Given Cloughie's record for accuracte foresight I'm happy to accept what he says despite the glaring lack of supporting evidence. The fact that Coxhall didn't wait to get millions proves that he is a skint conman who has come up north to shag our grans. BASTAD!

A fact is only a fact if written FACT. Ergo Cloughie is technically correct as per Interweb protocol, especially on Football Chat sites. etc.

However as Cloughie has previous for talking guff, I will refrain from technicalities and just say he is talking GUFF! FACT

Is the amount important to the fans? You're surely against renaming or your not regardless of how much the club have profited from doing so.
We're a League 2 club and any amount of money is important regardless of how we get it in.

Mr Kint you aren't one to doubt, but have you seen a document or something which proves this?

70k to change the name for a couple of years sounds a cracking deal to me. In fact I'll change my name by deed poll for a hell of a lot less.
As for Cloughies principled stand, he's the sort who'd chop down a tree stand on the stump and lecture us on tree preservation. Stuff and nonsense as per usual.

I don't think he's ever claimed to have pots of cash to invest has he?

I for one feel the club is in a much more secure position with him at the helm than the last few years of IOR's reign and I didn't hear talk of much competition to buy the club.

Good on him for making the most out of potential revenue streams which in this case, at the very least, should cover a bit of what seems to be an increased players wage budget.

Why do this attention seeking goons post even get replies? He's been posting shite to provoke a reaction for years, presuming this is the same weirdo behind the 'Blue Stripes' username, which all of his contributions suggest is the case.

What difference does it make whether it's £30k, £70k or £250k? Quite frankly it's none of our business and more money than we had for being called Victoria Park. Seems like some people are only happy when they are able to run to a message board and claim to be "in the know". In this instance I don't care what it's called or what we got paid for it, it's more than we had a week ago. More interested in the stuff on the pitch.

I want to see a document before I believe anything. Given the previous form of Clough v Compo I know who I would back though.

Why do you even bother coming on here ? All you ever do is come on like a nit picking windbag the sailor slagging the club off .... If ever you emigrate to a barren island in the arctic circle with no communication with the outside world it would brighten up a lot of people's lives.
