First of all A Happy New Season to all Pools Supporters. Why not make a new season's resolution to use the Corner Flag more often. You will be made very welcome. We hope to keep our prices at a reasonable level for as long as possible, Strongarm currently £2.60 a pint.
Membership of the Supporters Association is £5 per annum. and subs are due now. New members are welcome. Subs can be paid this Wednesday, 7pm - 9pm., Friday 7pm. -11 pm and before and after home games.
There is a supporters bus going to Preston on Tuesday 9th. August. £13 per. seat. Bookings as above.
The weekly letter draw is currently standing at £110 . This will be drawn on Friday at approx. 9.30 pm. There are a number of other fund raising efforts including a Football Buster, Match Day Raffle and Golden Goal. If you would like to take part in any of these you can pay for them when you are in the Corner Flag or you could take a standing order and by paying in advance you guarantee that you are taking part.
I have been supporting Pools for many years and I would be interested to know who is our oldest match going supporter. Sid Miller is in his nineties, 93 I think, and has a season ticket for the Cyril Knowles stand. Anyone know of any other nonagenarians who still go to matches?

Some years ago,at great expense, we had a self cleaning device installed. It was either that or solar panels, but it has been worth every penny. Highly recommended.

It's good to have an awareness of fellow supporters, on this board we now have you searching for the the oldest while Monkeybutt shows a keen interest in the younguns.

I'm sure mutley was cleaning the Rink End roof a few years back, during an FA Cup game against Millwall I believe. Maybe he could have saved you a few quid?

I think they would be unhappy if you started volleying it about the place.
