Poolies,

Done a pre-season Q&A with one of your fans, David Jolly, on Hartlepool's prospects: http://www.TheFootbalLab.co.uk/2016/har ... evolution/

I think you'll finish 11th. You've clearly improved under Hignett and signing the best players from the National League could be the right approach. My only question is whether there's enough width in the team - surprised you've not signed a right-back yet.

Good luck for the season.

Don't talk about our lack of strength at right back. If there's anything we've lacked over recent years it's been loads of right backs.

I presume you write the same basic template on each clubs forum and change managers name and random position that you are 'surprised' they haven't signed.

The fact of all positions you chose right back for us is highly amusing.

My assumption was that you had a lot of players capable of playing right-back, but no naturals in that position. Must have got that wrong.

We even appointed a right back as a physio. You can never have enough.

Stuart Parnaby? Makes sense - he'd have had more experience of your physio room than your pitch...

You say that tongue in cheek but that is genuinely the reason he has been given the job he has

I wished he'd mention us letting club legend Ian Thomas Moore leave

I'm surprised he didn't mention the lack of goals due to the failure to replace Stevie Howard!

Too soon? bbolt
