Don't think I've ever seen a stronger England batting line up. There's only Anderson really a out and out bowler, Broad at number 10 obviously can bat a bit. Root 200 off a reverse sweep was great to see.
Can see Pakistan making this difficult to win though, they're a decent side from what I saw of them the last test.

It's probably the longest ever but not the strongest, our two World class batsmen got big runs but huge question marks remain over Hales, Vince and Ballance against top quality bowling.

Aye question marks over them but all capable on their day. I remember in the Graham Gooch days we had every member of our batting line up had scored a first class century, we just couldn't bowl any fucker out!! Think it was 1989/1990 era.

To be fair this team won't be far off with only Anderson not and he's had an 80 odd in Test Cricket.
