Presents for the teacher.

It was mad in our house this Morning with our youngest granddaughter getting all stressed watching her wrapping up two boxes of malteser. Why two I asked. One for her teacher and the other for the teachers assistant. :o

When we got to school some of them needed a sandersons removal van to help those yummy mummy's carry all the bloody stuff to the classroom.

Makes granddaughters two boxes of mateser look cheapskate but I felt sorry for those little darlings with nowt, bet their playtime was made hell as those rich little types brag about the diamond encrusted bracelet they bought for miss.

Can I suggest schools have a rethink on this crazy American copy copy and have a collection box instead and buy the school something much needed then all can benefit. Or am I just a spoil sport and depriving those hard working teachers a weekend treat of chocolates and grog and the rest on ebay as one only needs one diamond encrusted bracelet.

We usually ask the teachers if there is anything they want for the classroom, last year my littleun got some books and pens for the nursery and the teacher was over the moon.

This year in reception the teacher said that they didn't need anything but if she wanted to buy something she could get a few packs of jelly sweets to hand out to the rest of the class when they have an end of year tea party on Wednesday.

I was at a graduation party (yes really even though it was quite nice really) at my eldest lads Nursery class today and when we left we saw a couple of limos waiting to pick up the Primary School kids. Utterly bonkers. So everyone is doing this at 11 and 16 now!?
