As I've been taking our Political aspirations seriously, and having a lot of time on my hands, I have formed a few ideas for our Party name and slogan if we are to be taken seriously!

The Hartlepool Party (HP) - HP We're saucey so vote for us.
The Hartlepool United Party (HUP) - Hup Hup Hooray vote for us today.
The Colonel and Bishop Party (CAB) - call the CAB and we'll take this country to where it should be.
The Bishop and Colonel Party (BAC) - Vote for us and we guarantee no BAC pains.
The Bunker Party (TBP) - TBP, vote for me, then sit on the Colonel's knee, and tell us what to Dee!

Maybe we should have a poll or something, as I expect our core voters will be on the Bunker.

I see you've got the hang of it already, Bishop, and you haven't even attended the first tutorial yet. Style before substance, is the way to go.

I quite like the fourth one personally but it's a bit too sensible. Eradicating back pain is an actual activity, remember. It would involve work.

Definitely not the last one. It's the aspiration of many on here to get close to the Colonel, and we'd just end up with unruly queues

By the way, Bishop ....a little small talk while the poll is being organised.... you weren't at Bish Town hall last night, by any chance?
There was a memorial gig for Roly Hindmarsh who died recently. What a lovely neet it was.

Being an inveterate splitter, I've just formed the PFLB (Popular Front for the Liberation of the Bunker).

Please note, it's a Movement, not a Party (only costs £3 to join).

No, you can't go, Malcolm. We can get through this.
It's this talk of sitting on the Colonel's knee, isn't it? I knew it would be a vote-loser.

Too late. We need no knees where we're going.

The PFLB promises to negotiate a new relationship between shin bones and thigh bones; it'll be like knees never existed.

I advocate the North Korean system as you always get 100% turnout with one candidate. As for debate, it only gets some people excited, so re-educating those who ask too many questions can lead to peace, harmony and a common goal.
Mind you, this board may be missing a few posters, but what the heck, think of the joy of silence.

I wasn't there last night, commitments etc. I'm glad you had a pleasant evening though.

Do you have a website? If not it won't work.

Anyway back to reality Mr Malcolm you are too late, as Mr Colonel has been elected as the Honourable MP for the constituency of the Bunker (Hartlepool), whereas The Bishop has been duly elected to The Bunker (Bishop Auckland) Constituency. Therefore as these new constituencies are in Cyber Space, I hereby declare, as returning officer, that Mr Colonel and I are entitled to attend Parliament on Monday and obviously claim our exorbitant expenses.

We contemplated this before your tenure Mr Bishop. We even had a forum dedicated to it and the name of the Poole Pride Party was registered as a political party although is sounds a bit gay ( it was registered by moisturiser boy himself)... I'm sure someone can confirm this.

Yes, offshore, but that was intended to work in the real world. Big mistake. This New Party takes into account the elusiveness of modern existence.

Also, there were no inducements to join the other one. I hear Bish and Col are offering beverages and biscuits at all meetings.

Mr Colonel we can't be seen to disagree in Public, that's what our Campaign Manager(Ms Grabec) has said, therefore it stands. If/when we turn up for Parliament we can then claim extortionate expenses to pay for the Tea/Coffee and biscuits( if we claim for second homes with Moats we can surely supply Chocolate biscuits) at meetings which will entice the constituents = VOTES !Politics is a no Brainer.

GET WITH THE PLAN MAN.
