Three and a half years to the DAY that my friend Sally Holbrook was killed here. Same junction. It should have been shut instantly.

Worst of all the sign that obstructed her view was removed a few days later because it was obvious some arsehole placed it without thought or concern right in front of on coming traffic totally blocking the view of vehicles crossing over the A689 junction. So sad cas it would not have happened if only the arsehole had taken a little more time to erect the sign properly banghead

Passed the scene, a sad sight on a warm summers evening.

Got caught in the traffic coming back into town yesterday evening and drove past the scene around 10 minutes after it happened, a tragic sight to see.
