Some if not most of their comments on their message board about us signing their players is cringe worthy and makes this site seem tame in comparison. If anyone gets a spare ten minutes go on and read their message board about us. Who do they they think they are the galaticos of the 2nd division. Slating our club our town to the maximum. A few little facts for any of them who pop on here. How anyone can call Hartlepool coming from Grimsby is beyond belief. We have never spent one second in non league football. We are slap back in the centre of the hotbed of football. We get almost 3500 season ticket holders to watch utter garbage and 7 years of it on the spin. No breaks no relief from being rubbish 7 years straight. No top half table goings on. Pure relegation battles. We average 3900 with the least amount of away fans visiting by far every season. A few more stats for their deluded idiots our last four local derbys 120 mile round trip and 180 miles have seen 1800 1700 2100 and 600 for a Tuesday night game. We took more to Plymouth on the last day than Grimsby have brought here in 20 years plus. You are the most deluded set of fans I've ever heard. Rant over

Let's just saying they will be going 'nuts'

The way I heard it Cleethorpes and Immingham are already across the Humber bridge and heading along the M62.

I heard rumours we are changing to black and white stripes next season as well, we need to start being more like these giant clubs such as Grimsby.

Wonder if it will affect the town, surely Verrill's will have to have longer opening hours to be considered as good as any chippy in Grimsby.

Would we have to increase the number of smack heads in the town or are we able to compete with Grimsby on that front?

Grimsby includes Cleethorpes, so if we included The Headland and Seaton, then we could compete I'm sure.

First Rant, Mr Billingham Poolie, can you please use full stops, or coma's as I'm out of Breath!

Second Rant, I heard Grimsby have "poached" Stevie Howard off our books.

Too big a club for us to compete for the likes of Stevie Howard I'm afraid.

The day gets worse for the Cleethorpes Galacticos, it has been announced that they've signed 'milk turns quicker' I say this loosely 'defender' Andrew Boyce.

They are not bothered about losing some useless forward who cant score against the top ten, though managed 37 against the rest. Their not bothered about losing one of their best defenders. Their just not bothered because they have signed Andrew Boyce lol. These galaticos just aren't bothered. Pages and pages of posts about them not being bothered. Fast becoming my 2nd favourite team their fans are class. At least it will add a bit of spice when we play these non league cloggers. Might put £20 on them to win the league now.

Think you must have been reading a different site; there were very few posts having a pop at Pools. Most were more critical of their manager only offering him a deal for a year, and wished Amond well. Probably a damn sight more reasonable than half the unbalanced window lickers on here would be if the tables were turned.
