Was getting sick of hearing about how got the irish were doing by merely boring the world to death.

Maybe they might try and play now.

Taken at face value they've been the worst team on display so far.

To be fair they're in a catch 22. If they come out and play they'll most likely get their arse handed to them in pretty much every game. If they sit back and hope to nick it, people will complain about how boring they are.

They're also slightly unlucky to be given such a difficult group. Fact is, they're just not good enough really.

Personally I think Ireland played better when they changed to 4 4 2. Fair enough by then they were chasing the game.

Hope they don't get a point in their group and to be fair they'd be lucky if they did, they surely have more talent than to setup a team like that.

They won their qualifying group and then set up and play like frightened rabbits.

There was no point in bothering to qualify.
