How poor were they on Monday.

To think they had 35,000 fans there and yet I can't remember them having one serious attack confised

Thing with the play offs is the team in form, funny how people focus on teams positions points wise at the time of the play offs. That team that comes through with a late burst to snatch the last play off place is the team to watch.

Can't find anything on their forum because its all about Wembley but a Pilgrim mate of mine recons Hartley is holding out on signing a contract because he wants to come back to Pools.

I reckon he needs a better agent if that's his best negotiation gambit!

Says on their forum that Hartley wants to move back to the North-East.

I wonder if MK Dons being in the same league as Wimbledon was part of Winkelman's grand plan.

I'm pretty sure Hartley will be at Pools next season.

Also be interesting to see if Wimbledon fans boycott the away game as they have always said they would, or whether they renege and line the imposters pockets ?

I reckon a significant number will still go. About 1,100 made the journey for the League Cup game in the 2014/15 season. The game at Wimbledon should make for interesting viewing.

I really hope not a single Wimbledon fan goes to MK, and Wimbledon win there.

Surprised to see Hartley is still only 28. That beard he'd sprouted last time I saw him at the Vic made him look about 35.

He's a decent player at League Two level and scores a few goals, so if Hignett thinks he fits the bill I'm not going to argue. It's not worth getting a sore eye for!

Didn't they push kingstonian out of there ground? Not 100% sure, but think they might have.

I don't like Wimbledon and never have. Don't think many did till MK came along. Can see why people don't like MK because what happened was obviously wrong, but if I'm right about kingstonian and there ground then there just as bad.

The Wimbledon rebirth novelty has worn off and the outrage bus has failed its MOT and been put to rest.
It was a valid bone of contention at the time but now it's as relevant as South Shields being shipped to Gateshead.

Not quite. Ks were bought by some shyster when they were potless who then sold the ground to afc. Afc did nothing wrong as such but took advantage of the situation. Very similar to the west ham situation.

I should add, Ks were given a lease so still had somewhere to play. The future is not so clear though with Chelsea looking to buy the ground once afc move back to plough lane.

The original Wimbledon were a fucking awful team/club.

MK Dons are even worse, but worse still, have somehow become the media darlings.

Its like watching a liverpool v Manu cup final and wanting them both to lose.

Surely afc deserve some credit for what they have achieved as would darlo if they got themselves back having to start again from scratch.

They are my local team and although I don't watch them, they have come a long way from when they first started when I remember an advert in the local paper asking for anyone fancying a trial to turn up at a local rec. I was already contracted otherwise would have gone along....
