Fair play to him, he has ambition and won't hang around if it's not matched by the club. He won a cup and fininshed 3rd and wanted a bigger budget to compete, the board didn't agree.

While I'm happy with Hignett, I feel he'd of been a good match for our current owners and we'd of found out soon enough if their intentions weren't as they lead us to believe.

I hope he's got a good job lined up, something like the Derby job would be ideal for him.

The one that got away, great Manager, unfortunately came to the club at the wrong time, never given a chance by the board.
