Walking into the Metropolis this morning, I saw an elderley gentleman wearing a Pools Polo shirt, which is rare around these parts. Thing is it was by Avec? I do know Nike did/does own Avec, so could there be a change? I haven't read or heard anything to say Nike no more.

It maybe the bloke bought an Avec Polo shirt and his wife stitched on a Pools badge, or it was another team who's badge is a red steering wheel with a football in the middle!

Not rumour mongering, but did seem strange to me. Anyone in the know?

All of the 'training' gear is Avec and not Nike I think

Avec have done the training side of things for a good few years now.

I've heard Avec cover the training clothing range.

Apparently Avec is quite prevalent during training

I always thought the Bunker was the font of all knowledge, and even better than Wikipedia. However after, as no Bunkerites seem to know whether Avec are involved with Pools training kit makes me shake my head!

I think now my life hopes and dreams have been dashed by the Bunker, I'll drink some warm milk, nick a tenner and go for some fish and chips. I may even prevail from wearing my Duchamps (thats how upset I am).

Sometimes we just don't have the answer on here.
