Got to be the full fat stuff though.

You start using low fat guff like I Can't Believe It's Not Butter or similar, and for me you deserve all that comes to you. Frankly it's unacceptable.

Lurpak only, everything else is shite.

Toasties are savoury, that is clearly a dessert. I've never really had sweet tooth so I'd keep the life support machine plugged in rather than eat that. Though it does give us a valuable insight into how you have achieved a kite as a non drinker.

It is a dessert, there is no fooling you!

Have you not seen dessert pizzas at the supermarket?

I love how you remember stuff about me, do you want to share a glass of milk

Thick sliced white bread, spread tomato puree on each slice, fill with cheese and sprinkle oregano on top and that gives you a pizza toastie. Unbelievable.

On the subject of bread, I've been enjoying the fresh sourdough loafs from Tesco, very soft and extremely tasty.

What have I 'remembered' about you weirdo!?

Dessert pizzas sound absolutely disgusting as well and also in the context of this thread not a fucking toastie, it would almost certainly be disrespectful to make one after unplugging a life support machine even if you had used a stolen tenner for the ingredients.

Can you 2 either bum each other or behave bickering as it completely ruins threads.

Gunna start deleting your arguments soon.

I'm not bickering or even being remotely serious I don't really see anything different to just about every other post everyone else has made towards monkeybutt since his .... erm.... story.

American grilled cheese sandwich, now that is a toastie and a half, sourdough is good for that Joe as it is robust.

With Joe Mac on that one.. tried it for 1st time the other week. Mix a few Habanero Flakes (Available from Asda) into the puree mix, italian herbs, cheese and onions.. Superb!

I've tried doing the same, but I keep failing... I'm just a narky git.

Seriously though, we've had more than our fair share of digs at each other, and you're right, it's cringe-worthy. Can't remember the last time?

Don't mind digs on here as long as the intention is to be humorous - nothing wrong with piss taking as long as you're not thin skinned yourself.

But when it gets down to individual name calling, what's the point? I come on here for light relief, not raised blood pressure.

Baked Beans, Worcester Sauce, Oregano or herbs de provence, butter and cheese. Medium white bread, buttered on outside. Lovely. Years ago used to do an egg toastie, but in the cheap modern toastie machine, it doesn't work properly!

I got a kebab wrap last night, just chips and kebab meat and garlic inside no salad. Unrolled it, whacked a bag of grated mozzerlella and chedder all over it and popped it under the grill, ate majority with a fork and then rolled it up to devour the last of it as they always have too much filling to eat as a wrap straight off. Was gorgeous.

12" thin crust pepperoni for afters too.

The slices at the end of each loaf of bread make the best toast.

FACT.

Do you mean the crusts or end slices proper? This really matters a lot as I'm about to have some toast in about 20 minutes and it has to be good.

Uncut bread makes the best toast, from a proper baker without preservatives FACT.

Slice it yourself obviously as the whole loaf won`t fit in - Oi, You! Tree

The end slices. Make sure to take your butter out of the fridge - if that's where you keep - at least a good half hour before toasting.

Nothing worse than stubborn butter.

Except maybe olive spread.

I don't keep my butter in the fridge, it's either in a cupboard or near the toaster in a butter dish. This way ensuring it keeps a soft consistency.

I like to take it out of the fridge before I leave the house in the morning - then it's perfect for when I get home.
