Here's a clue about how much good having all these EU players in the Premier League is doing for English football -

Aston Villa and Newcastle each have 11 players in their first-team squads who wouldn't qualify for work permits under current rules!

Charlton, second bottom in the Championship, have 13 European players who wouldn't qualify!!

The Stay campaign have some feckin brass neck trying to add this to their litany of reasons not to leave.

Fortunes paid out for very average players. I loved the ludicrous comment that the players contribute to the country via the large tax returns..... surely it's more a sign of paying them obscenely large wages.
