It's not that long ago that Guiness or Murphys were the only freely available stouts. They're all over now thankfully, most of them made by small brewers and kicking the arse of the mass-produced rubbish.

Gillespies seemed to be everywhere for a year or two then disappeared. Seem to remember it was Scottish.

Rarely see it on pumps nowadays. Much better to see quality stuff made with proper ingredients.
