The BBC mini series not the one at Crimdon.

An excellent series despite being a retirement home for ex Harry Potter actors. Maggie Smith apart, if theres a better British actress than Sarah Lancashire then I've yet to see her.

All the best ones pass for Americans.

Thoroughly enjoyed both series.

I know it's only a drama but felt really sorry for both the teaching assistant lass and the mum who killed her son and dare I say it even the copper that killed the woman sadx

There's a Happy Valley in Bishop, locally known as the Unhappy Valley. I haven't been for years but when you went in the daughter behind the counter wasn't happy as she was watching Emmerdale or Eastenders and you were disturbing her night. I think her legs may have been shackled to the counter too. She tutted if you took more than 2 mins to look at the menu, then when you got home the food was terrible. I went to the other Chinese round the corner one teatime and the queue was out the door, so I went to the Unhappy Valley which was empty. Should have told me everything I needed to know, But i was hungry so bought some inedible food. Never been back
