Probably the first ever music thread where I could make a contribution :uhoh:

Along with Adam and the Ants ( :uhoh:

) ELO were the first band that I ever listened to. Sweet talking woman definitely my favourite.

I don't do 'gigs' as such but wanted to go and see Jeff Lynne on his current tour but my wife wouldn't go with me and had no one else to go with :crying-yellow:

Great band in the day. Jeff Lynnes version now sounded weak.

I briefly forgave Jeff Lynne for ELO when he was in The Travelling Wilburys.

Then I thought, Nah, 2 albums made with some bone fide music geniuses can never atone for Mr Blue Sky.

Jeff Lynne - good vocals with Tom Petty on" While my guitar gently weeps " at George Harrison's inauguration to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Mind, Prince steals the show with his blistering guitar solo.
