Better known to people like me who buy music magazines, at any rate.

Don't they hold the record for the shortest song ever to be a hit? I think it just edges out Tony Bennet's "The Good Life".

Big Star were great. Picked up their albums in the States for a couple of dollars each...very influential on loads of 80s and 90s acts.
