I'm sure I saw one about 30 years ago when i was still at school in Richmond. Hovering above a school field one evening send then disappeared. Being such a while maybe I just hope that I saw one :uhoh:

I can't believe we are the only 'beings' in the universe but that said, in this day and age where all phones have quality built in cameras, I do also think it odd that there is no concrete evidence.

Be a waste of space if only earth was populated but it does seem unlikely in an infinite universe. As it's infinite the chances of our path crossing their's in an infinite amount of time are also infinitely minuscule.

Apart from the vastness of space what about the other frequencies of energy planes that we can't feel or experience there also could be "life" there. What amazes me is that everyone everywhere is essentially made of empty space an atom is 99% nothing but space so in turn so are we! Also every atom or element in the world came from an exploding star. Knowledge is knowing how little we know.

With the current laws of physics as we understand them it's impossible that we'd be visited by anything from another planet. There's certainly life elsewhere, probably intelligent life too. We can't be so arrogant to think we're the only ones.

Funny you should mention this:

I'm gonna tell you about the other night, I swear that is true. A cloud of white and green and flying ships I've never seen, Came into my view. Was I frightened? was I scared? Was I thrown into confusion? As they glided down so silently, it wasn't an illusion.

I reckon there is intelligent life out there, and they are already present on earth. They have invisibility shields, so they can hang about in toilets laughing at drunk people shitting in sinks.

A civilization that could achieve a speed of 0.1C and set out to colonize other worlds would, if sufficient life-supporting stop-offs were available, take a frighteningly short time (by cosmic standards) to colonize the entire galaxy.
If there aren't any UFOs, there must be something stopping the above happening: no other beings, no such speed, no such stop-offs, or no such thing as a million year-old civilization.

Fermi already said all that decades ago of course.

You might be onto a bit of a business opportunity there. I'll just take 10% for the idea, ta.

Funnily, I seem to be the only person who thinks Enterprise shits all over the other derivatives of TOS. With or without the illustrious sex Vulcan from space (who is only 63 years old).

I was in Birch services the other week and I noticed the bloke serving was called 'Robin' according to his name badge. As I was paying for my coffee and Ginsters slice I had to all most physically stop myself from asking if his surname was Bastard.
