but bates is much worse than harrison. highlights prove that its correct to be bates playing at moment. Carson hardly covers himself in glory for the 2nd either after harrisons mistake.

Walker looks to have done well attacking wise but seems at fault for 2 of the goals....all these mistakes are embarrassing though

It's unbelievable how all at sea the defence looks on those highlights compared with the Northampton game. All semblance of organisation looks to have gone out of the window with Bates not playing.

It's not all down to Harrison - the sight of Magnay not getting tackles in and jogging slowly back to the penalty box while Luke James busts a gut to try to cover overlaps is just as depressing - yet he looked really solid for 90 minutes on Saturday!

Got to hope Bates is fit for Barnet; no doubt there'll be some other changes as well. I'd put Richards and Hawkins back in for a start.

Sign a centre back, play Bates holding midfielder.

Mind if it's a back injury you can't see him being fit for Saturday, especially with another long coach journey before the game.

Snowy, rather than just having a pop at my every post and sniping at my opinion, why not tell me what I'm saying that is wrong.

Start going to games and we'll have a basis for discussion. Till then, you're a eunuch commenting on an orgy.

I don't think anyone has an issue with your opinion. It's the way you are putting it across, and has been all season, it's making you come across as someone who is trolling the Internet. I noticed the other week after Moore went that you bumped threads back up from months ago, which thankfully nobody replied to. That's just a bit sad.

Everyone realises the team is poor, everyone realises there's not much clarity or certainty behind the scenes but we're football fans at the end of the day so we're still going to talk about our team, we're still going discuss where we think we can improve to get results and we're still going to turn up to the Vic and get behind the team. You're not that is fine and completely up to you, you obviously miss it though if not then what's this all about?

Actually. I'm not missing it. However after almost 30 years of season tickets I can't forget it easily either. In the same way as everyone else I am entitled to an opinion and allowed to express it however I wish.

I respond when things get insulting and personal. That's understandable is it not. I don't insult posters because of their opinions. I don't bring up their personal life or hobbies. I don't drop in their real names in a cheap dig.

More often than not my observations are correct and I will continue to standby them

Most of the time your intentions appear to be to wind people up. You can't then complain if people react.

You reap what you sow...

Is everyone on here under their various guises exactly as they are when met in a pub or a cafe. Unlikely

I also reckon the majority of comments made towards others on here would not be said face to face. That's why and how these places keep going

I will stand by all of my comments and have not insulted others so have nothing I have to hide.

I agree with Mad John, I've met you in real life a couple of times and you seemed like a decent gadgie. You also used to post some good craic on here. Over the last couple of years you seem to have changed. Dead defensive, on the wind up a lot, a bit childish at times. Let's have the old Bresslaw back eh?

It came with retirement and the ability not to suffer fools gladly. To treat idiots with the contempt they deserve. To be able to say what you really think without having to worry about being judged or suffering as a result. Liberating but confrontational. Moreover very enjoyable at times.

Somehow they don't come across as enjoyable. Bitter and angry is how I interpret some of your posts.Fools, idiots, contempt, confrontational - all quite hostile words them.

Thanks for the background info about your current status and state of mind. Maybe you should try to get out a bit more, join a few clubs or activity groups?

Wish you all the best, but I won't be reading any more of your posts, let alone responding to them.
