Anyone see it?

He was surprised they sacked an experienced manager and replaced him with an inexperienced one!
So a clueless experienced manager is the best bet?, my arse, he is fuckin deluded :naughty:

You have to remember nothing was ever Ronnies fault, his comments were as you would expect.

He said he expected to be given more time after what he achieved last season. Personally, I'd say he had been given more time, if it wasn't for that he'd probably have been gone long before.

We'd keep showing up to games thinking it couldn't be worse than last time and it was. We'd have the occasional positive performance without getting a result and you'd think that maybe it was the start of turning a corner and the next game would be back to the usual.

One thing worse than inconsistent players is an inconsistent manager. All preseason we played 5 at the back but have never once done so this season; he didn't know his best formation or best team which by this stage of the season says it all really.

When we had Moore it felt like his gameplan was to take one game at a time, if we play shit bring in a loan player or slate a player to the media.

There was no evidence of any future planning, no proper coaching, no players improving under him or us playing modern day football. When we had Cooper & Hignett we had players like Luke James, Brad Walker and Duckworth flourish under them and you could see them improving game by game.

As soon as Hignett came in he started talking about building something for the future and changing our style of football and that is so refreshing to hear, whether it pays off is another thing. His comments regarding training were no surprise either as those rumours were circling months ago.

Moore's experience helped us get out the shit last year but going forward he is definitely not the man to take this club up a level.

Losing to a non-league team when you're already in a bad run of form is often a recipe for the boot, but Pools drew with Salford and 'earned' a televised replay.

Personally I thought we played even worse at the Vic than we'd done down at Salford, but the end result was a win and a Third Round tie with Derby - which ended up being one of the best performances of the season!

Don't disagree that things got worse month on month from mid-November, but Moore was 'lucky' with the timing of the postponements, otherwise he could have gone over the Christmas holidays.

There are only good managers and bad managers, nothing to do with whether young (inexperienced ) or old ( Dinosaur stuck in the 70s)

I think the win against Salford was a stay of execution. Had we lost that I think he'd have gone there and then.

Let's be honest, national media folk know fook all at this level and will alays treat us as 'little ole artlepool' who should be grateful for what we've got. They're great at spouting shite about the Premiership, but their true ignorance is revealed when they have to come down to our level.

The word on the street at the time was that Green and Coxhall had had a major disagreement that night over whether he should stay or go. Never did find out which one of them wanted him gone.

I wonder which one is next to go.

Well it wont be green. He has got away with the last 6 years, so if he can survive that he must be bullet proof.
