Jack Blackford a young (very talented) winger who came through the youth academy he has been on trial at Manchester City last week and Aston Villa the week before, both clubs are very keen.

I was wondering where we stand regarding a fee?

I thought if anybody has a tweeter account they might ask Gary Coxall unless somebody can shed some light on the situation?

It would probably go to a tribunal if he's not signed to a contract, unless a fee can be agreed.

Is it not a concern they are interested and we aren`t banghead

I know Jack well and his parents, he is overlooked by Kudos ffs, I have seen him 3 times this season in the reserves and he is so much better, 2 footed and an eye for goal, be sad if we lose him!

Wonder how little we'd get under the EPPP...

Whack him in our starting line up tonight.

Luke James and Brad Walker both made debuts age 17, give this lad a chance.

Is a relegation battle the best time to bring a youngster in? I'd say yes, kids play without the fear most of the time. Would the owners want to risk a saleable asset getting injured, probably not.

Not sure how getting a few would work, but surely if he's got some experience of the first team, we'd stand better chance of getting more for him, even if it's just 10 minutes from the bench at the end of some games.

Im sure Higgy will be keeping an eye on him and give him his debut in due course.
Expect a few more players to start coming thru the junior ranks to first team especially with the loan window changing next season.

Hignett's interview a month or so back hinted that he is one for giving younguns a chance. I believe Adam Johnson is of similar mind.
