You kept Pools in the league last season when by rights we should have been dead and buried.

This season has been very disappointing to say the least, but at least you gave us the chance to be shit again at this level for another year, rather than in the Conference.

Best of luck in whatever you do next.

Echo that for last season but he is 80% reason we look to be so fucked this season. Unbalanced squad, no idea what his best team is, tactically clueless and unwilling to take any blame

Cheers but good riddance now

Thanks foe keeping us up Ronnie, but it seemed certain that had you stayed we would have been a Conference side by May. A big thanks should also go to both Tranmere and Cheltenham for beig so shit and assisting us .

Moore would have got more respect by saying I'm done, cannot do it and I gave it my best shot but thats me. I . wonder what pay off he negotiated? - can't see him carrying on in management unless it Unibond or thereabouts.

Thanks for the York match at the start of the season. A great feeling to walk away from Bootham Crescent with a win for a change... a good day all round actually. .

Did a job for us last season brought us back from the brink he enjoyed it and was swept up in the excitement , but has failed this season signing 20 or so players who except a few are not up to much , so I think its time to fade gracefully into retirement and thanks for the great escape it was a blast

Ronnie reminds me of a lower league Harry Redknapp. Great in his day, but that management style is a bit outdated now.

Always be grateful for last year.

Very grateful for last season but I think that's when he should have walked away. He done the job but I think we should have allowed somebody else to come in to build something new, we didn't play attractive football in Ronnie's time but he done what was necessary and as Yubep say's his methods and approach to games are very outdated.

When we had Hignett as a coach, some of the football we were playing was superb. I'm looking forward to seeing us play under Hignett, hopefully we will see the best out of Walker and James.

If JPNG hadn't have given Ronnie a new contract after the miracle of staying up (and let's face it, we were proper fooked at one point) there would've been hell on and especially after the start to this season we had.

But thanks Ronnie, if we'd have gone down last season I dread to think..

Yes in hindsight that's what should have happened but I imagine had he walked away at the end of the season people would have been almost universally disappointed. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Plus he's not that type of bloke to walk away say what you like about him, he clearly loves his job and what his son said yesterday about him being hard working is clearly true (remember he drove to Plymouth to watch Marvin Morgan  rolf) Remember we went into the season feeling generally optimistic that we had something to build the on and things were going to improve. I didn't expect play offs but definitely improvement and certainly not the massive disappointment we've got.

He'll always be remembered for keeping us in the league last season and rightly so. Hope he gets another job and gets to a thousand games.

I'd also like to add that I've just read his interview in tonight's Mail and he deserves credit for that as well, not an ounce of bitterness even though he's obviously disappointed. I think after the position he inherited he's managed to leave still in credit. We could have easily been half way up the conference right now, or God forbid, even worse.
