Who would you want to take over when (if) Ronnie gets the boot?

Realistic suggestions preferred.

Hignett...no brainer. Although we'd likely get Ritchie to save us. Can't see anyone else realistically taking the job who's got experience

Wadsworth would have this turned around in no time at all.

If not Higgy, I'd like to see Darrell Clarke but he'd be daft to move here. The owners are specialists in recruiting so if they can't find the right man we're fooked.

There are a few decent choices already mentioned but why would any of them walk into this situation? Hignett might because he wouldn't have to move house and knows some of the players. I suppose I'd try for him on those grounds but I can't say it would be with any great enthusiasm as he strikes me as a bit of a tosser.

Yeah Mark Cooper would do a lot better in fact could it be any worse.
Last night should have been no surprise to any one playing 442, played of the park same result same excuses.
This will continue with moore until such time he is removed

We would probably refuse to let him manage after 14 games.

Yet still a much better tactical coach and better organizer than Moore/Collins will ever be.

The situation might not be that bad.

We have players capable, on paper we have a good side, we just a better manager in place of them.

Im confident under a different manager and coach we would be much higher.

It won't happen but would love to see Kenny Lowe come home and take over.

Playing devil's advocate here...but would Hignett not be a massive gamble? How many brilliant no. 2's are crap managers?

I'm not saying keep Moore but it would be a brave man to bring in someone who isn't tried and tested when facing a relegation fight don't you think?

Ranieri is 64. I don't think age is really a factor, its about finding the right man for this football club in particular.

Not convinced he'd choose us over a shot at the Premier League title but don't let me dash your optimism!
