Oh ye of little faith.

Pools have a tried and trusted plan, which will no doubt work - as it worked last season.

Coxall and Green have already designed and put orders in for the 'Great Escape two' scarves and banners - they also have got the marketing for next years season ticket sales based on the unenviable excitement of being involved in the 'Great Escape 3'.

Or am I really being cynical here?

3000 Poolies on the free busses will be going to Plymouth to claim an unlikely win and stay up on the last day of the season. One thing you can guarantee at pools very rarely dull at the end of the season.

You change a manager when they're s***e.
You do not change a manager just because all the other teams are doing it ..... and changing managers guarantees jack shit... even though I am disappointed with Moore.

No, you change the manager because we are at the arse end of the league, the others at the same end all change and improve and we still at arse end, how much clearer would you like it Mr P Dantic?

And then all summer it'll be "let's kick on this summer" and they'll be a "feel good factor" around the camp. Then yeah usual bullshit half way through the season

I never knew it was that easy..... so you just change the manager and your season is 'kissed better' and we all live happily ever after. Excellent. Trouble is one nasty little fact spoils it, we must hold some record or other for kicking mangers into touch and that's been a stunningly resounding success hasn't it.

That was the previous mob, unless we change the manager we will endure the same misguided shit that we have all season, if your happy with it, which I know you aren`t due to previous threads you have expressed your worries, why are you being a girl?

Because YOU came out stating that all other bottom clubs have sacked their manager so we should. No, we sack him because he's useles not because everyone else is doing it.
As for 'being a girl' I work with them, admire them and don't have any hang ups with them so thanks for the compliment.

I stated the others had changed the manager and had improved, Stevenage just sacked theirs and expect improvement, we have the same manager and heading downwards with no signs of improvement, so we should change him!
What exactly didn`t you get from that, just because you work with women, doesn`t mean you forget the offside rule, lose rational and have a period you clart

Problem with all that monkeybutt is you say we haven't changed manager and have shown no improvement. Yet we were fantastic against wycombe and Cambridge and played well against Plymouth and Derby without quite getting the results that the performances perhaps deserved. I'd consider that an improvement.

Trouble is despite some improved performances we are still 2nd bottom in the L2 form table over last 12 and 3rd bottom over last 6 games. York bottom with Stevenage and Crawley near us, and Crawley are not going to go down.
We have 8 points from 36 and 4 from last 18.
Dagenham, Yeovil, Newport have all improved since changing manager and have narrowed the gap or gone ahead of us and our games in hand are reducing with no gain.
Should Stevensge make a sound appointment then they too could move away from us.
I'm in the time for Ronnie to go camp as he is clearly not getting the best from this squad with his selections, formations and tactics and game management.......his people management seems even worse.
If we are still in this predicament after the next 3 games he simply has to go

The Exeter match was a strange one. We built up decent pressure in the 2nd half without really looking like scoring. Certainly wasn't a great display, neither was Accrington by all accounts.

I agree it's coming close to being time for a change, we have, in my opinion, underachieved quite a bit this season.

There is nothing to disagree with though, we are in trouble with a manager out of his depth, at the arse end of the table, the other teams have changed their manager and are improving, what exactly do you disagree with?

Exeter was a straight throwback to the home form of recent seasons- go a goal down, loss nailed on.

While Paynter's been out, there's only been one League game since September where Pools have managed to score more than a single goal.

Fenwick's goalscoring record this season isn't as good as some people pretend (less than 1 in 3 this season rather than the 1 in 2 that's still being claimed on here) but the way he's been in and out of the team hasn't made a lot of sense.

As for the rest of the season - it doesn't take a Gary Neville (snigger) to work out that we'll stay up if we score more goals. Still think old Paynterman is the best bet for that.

Pools have got far and away the worst goalscoring record in the division, but have conceded 9 goals less than York City.

Good to know we're not the worst at defending as a team! (Stevenage are)
