How many have we now pulling on the payroll without much in the way of decent players coming in.

I struggle to think of any decent permanent signings since Sir Neale's first reign. Mick Wadsworth managed to turn water into wine but...................

I'm not even convinced that Magnay is a particularly brilliant signing...........yes, we've had a few decent loan signings - but given the number of loan signings it would be a miracle if some of them weren't decent.

But isn't your post yet another dig at the number of current non-playing staff? Or are you having a pop at certain specific folk?

I actually don't think this squad is worst and I do think we have signed some decent players and a couple of really good ones.

Magnay and Trevor Carson are really good for me.

I'd say Paynter was a good signing.

Then we have the likes of Bingham, Fenwick, Oates, Harrison, Carroll and probably a few I've missed that have potential to be good

We just can't seem to get all of the key players on the pitch and when we do we can't find a settled formation and the consistent motivation to get the best out of them. We have had worse squads that have performed better.

Magnays a good player, shame he seems to miss over 50% of our games.

I know you aren't the brightest but it's hardly positive suggesting we are massively underachieving is it!?

I don't think we're brilliant and certainly the squad has plenty of flaws but I think we should be half way up this shite league.

Didn't IOR say something last year along the lines that the money had to be spent in this window?

It's quite obvious the crippling VAT on Thomas' transfer has swallowed the FA Cup money

If we do manage to offload Walker for a fee, we could end up making another profit over the transfer window. Will certainly help Russ pay for another CEO of the year gong.

Be unfucking believable if that actually happens, but don't worry folks we are putting plenty of "bids" in.

See we have just missed out on another signing! Perfect fit for our club, although he might be a bit too young.

Ian Moore is a top Scout.

Just some fans dont appreciate his talents.

Banton is the best winger in the country.
Them 3 appearances were awesome.

Do we still have the scout who recommended David Atkinson? Poolie legend, can't wait for his testimonial.

Do you think that they think we swallow the horse shit that comes out about nobody wants to come up north?

I know some will but the streetwise amongst us know the reason is we pay peanuts and although renting is cheaper up here and you can take the kids to school in your onesie, they still need to live etc!

Relax lads, the goalkeeper's a clown.

Still 4 days to go till the deadline closes and personally I'd say there's zero chance of Ronnie Moore not signing somebody before it does. There'll be plenty of time then to slag the new player off before he's had a chance to start a match and to complain about how little he cost. Whoever the poor bugger is.
