Update:-

Swindon chairman Lee Power stated that he had turned down an offer for Michael Smith who has now returned from Barnsley where he was on loan, Michael would like to return to his native Northeast.

It is reported that Scunthorpe and Portsmouth are interested in Smith.

It is possible Ronnie Moore may switch his attention to Simeon Jackson who has just been released by Barnsley.

The same Simeon Jackson that has just signed for Blackburn Rovers?

It was on that Football rumours site.

I obviously find terrorism abhorant but if ISIS target anything next it should be that website. It at the very least wants setting fire to. Also anyone who shares anything from it should be jailed indefinitely.

amount of people suggesting 442 must go to games and just close their eyes.....we are awful with 2 in the middle and gray is so much better in the number 10 role off a striker

I am led to believe that the player we are getting in on loan this week played for his club yesterday. Apparently Moore had commented in an interview that he hoped he didn't get injured.

Anybody hear that interview?

Theres some speculation that it could be an Oldham player.

Just had a look through the Oldham team that played at Bradford yesterday and noticed there was 18,500 at the game  they were the first to bring in the £100 season ticket offer and assume they still have it. Fair play to them.

If the Oldham rumour is true my money is on Jake Cassidy simply as he's been at Tranmere on loan numerous times.

Might get a season long loan for Jackson if Boro go up.
The Boro dont mind loaning there younger talent out before deciding on there next contract.
Ben Gibson being a prime example.

As for the loan strikers we rumoured to be after are they any better than what we already got seen as Paynter isent faraway and i still think Bingham can do a job for us.

Ronnie said he was playing for his club today so that's Millwall, Port Vale, Oxford or Bristol Rovers.

I'm sure I seen that Jackson only has a contract till end of season. Imagine if boro go up then he's even more likely not to get a new contract seen as he hasn't really pushed the first team as far as I am aware.

We'll probably be able to arrange just signing him for a small fee to around amount of his wages for rest of season. We shouldn't let him slip out of our fingers like we did with burgess.

Just been reading ( Mail ) we have missed out yet again, this time on Nigel Atangana tough tackling midfielder.

If there's a positive it was a position we need to fill. Especially with Magnay out injured.

Gone to Orient.

Ahh I see the mail have used one of their set Pools templates

"Ronnie Moore misses out on <Insert position> but is hoping to conclude a deal for another target before the <Insert opposition> game"

"Ronnie Moore disappointed with display against <Insert opposition> and demands reaction against <Insert opposition>"

"<Insert Pools player> urges team mates to bounce back"

We had another bid rejected for a Oldham forward but it shows how ambitious our club is.
Ronnies interview in the Echo.

What did they offer: 10k and a box of kippers!

Had a bid turned down for Rhys murphy at Oldham. A prolific striker that wont come cheap got a cracking record of scoring two goals in last two years. Also linked with Luke James scored one in last years or so. Ronnie Moore then says this just shows how ambitious the club are. Certainly does Ronnie. Paper also threw in were strongly interested in macclesfields leading scorer. Though darlo are probobly more likely to win the premiership than a serious bid being made by us for him.

Apparently the offer was Kudus Oyenuga plus the chairman's 'shumper'. All parties were interested until it was noticed that Kudus wasn't actually a footballer and the 'shumper' had a hole in it.

Dunno what player youve been looking at but Rhys Murphy has 9 goals in 15 games on loan to Crawley this season

Rhys Murphy has been prolific on loan at Crawley and It would be a fantastic signing had we signed him at 6 - 1" and only 25. years old.
But has been pointed out on the bunker are these offers realistic? It would appear not although I would love to be proved wrong (as I'm sure all bunker members would agree ).
The other thing is we don't seem to be prepared to negotiate, we make an offer it's rejected and that's it, we don't go back with an improved offer.
It's no good claiming the club is ambitious because we are putting single bids for different player.
Come on Pools prove you are ambitious.

Just announced by Notts County Jimmy Spencer's contract terminated by mutual agreement.

Jimmy Spencer a 24 year-old 6'-1" striker, played against us in reserve game early in the season, they beat us 2-10 at Billingham and he ran us ragged. He was outstanding.

Has had a serious injury a couple of season ago but now over it.

Anyone who was at that game will remember him.

Probably read he's signed for someone later today (I mean not us).

What a surprise , no more permanent signings. More cheap loans and the FA cup money vanishes into the FFP ether.

Windows bricked up. Pools probably don't realise that window tax was repealed over 150 years ago.
