Quiet on here tonight, but that was a good win today against a good team.

Well done Pools.

Had to hold on a bit in the end but some very good defending and buckets of effort saw us through.

Was impressed with Thomas in the first half, hope his injury isn't too serious

We haven't moved up but that's the games in had really, win them and we'll start moving. Clinical with the chance and clean sheet so can't Complain about that.

Ronnie just on the radio saying we won't be making second bits for either of these two strikers as the clubs want stupid money. The striker coming on loan is a done deal but he'll be involved in his teams game tomorrow so that's sorted for Monday

Apparently just a tight calf so its just a precaution because it could develop onto a strain. Not sure if he'll be fit for Tuesday ... If Accrington actually manage to get a game on that is

Easy tiger! It's barely night time for it to be be quiet on here tonight! The game's just finished and most will be enjoying a pint or travelling home.

As for the rest, you're spot on! Great result. I felt we needed to follow the Derby performance up with at least a draw, otherwise any confidence we might have taken from it would of been wasted. Hopefully Tuesday's game will be on and we can get a result there as we really need to start a run going.

It's busy on here 5 minutes before the final whistle when we lose!

Was a great listen. I've got used to us conceding when we're under pressure so it was impressive to hear how hard they battled to keep a clean sheet.

I never comment on games I haven't attended but for the sake of positivity, it was a great win, a great three points and I look forward to many more.

So this striker plays for one of the following...

Oxford, Millwall, Port Vale or Bristol Rovers

Or one of the Prem teams...

That's what I was thinking, a lot of us aren't even home by 20 past 5 let alone logged on. Took me 10 minutes to thaw out.

Last 15 minutes was torture as had left my phone at home and was unable therefore to " cash out " either of my bets on the game. Been a lot easier on the old ticker if Woods had slotted home when clean through.

this translated to having money on pools at 3/1? tell you what chip, must be some income you have from gambling....seem to get large winners in football terms on a few occasions

Great win today. Everyone but a shift in and we just shaded it against a good Wycombe side.

Not at the game today but I was at the away game and Wycombe were a class act. Beating them today was an achievement.

Their tactic today seemed to be just pump long balls and foul.

Not how I'm used to seeing an Ainsworth team play.

Then either they play very different at home or the conditions didn't allow a passing game or, perish the thought, Pools didn't allow them to play their normal game.

we edged the first half. for some reason once thomas went off we just decided to drop deep and hoof it clear every time and invited pressure.

we got a bit of luck with balls falling for us but it was nice to see everyone fighting and scrapping for the win

Another excellent performance from pools following on from last week. Signs are there that at home we can maybe become very hard to beat. Understandable when you haven't won for a while that you sit back a little and try and keep what you have but we still could and should of got a second against possibly one of the better teams in the league. Lets hope we can start grinding some away results out now. I thought Jackson was once again our best player.

thought jackson struggled against that ugwu, who while didn't offer that much, was a huge aerial presence.

hard to pick out a best player because again the whole team battled and all worked hard for each other

Anyone think Featherstone was shit today?

Had a disagreement on the facebook group with a bloke who said he was shite, I thought he did ok again!

Featherstone was good today monkeybutt he only misplaced one pass. Thought Gray was immense. Oates was superb in the goal build up riding four challenges before laying off for Thomas. Fantastic defending Carson only had one serious save to make.

If you want sensible conversation or debate with people with brain cells then that Facebook group isn't the best place

That was a great win today. Better team for 70 minutes, then we started to drop back. Even though they were piling the pressure on, Carson only had one save to make.

I think it's worth mentioning that we were also without 3 of our best players today. When those 3 are back we'll look quite strong!

It was good to see Paynter out there today taking part in the warm up as well; apparently going to start for the reserves on Wednesday

I thought Featherstone had a good game again today, our best most reliable player in possession of the ball.

Apart from Camara getting in the cross for the second Derby goal, Jordan Richards has performed very, very well in the last two matches. He can provide a decent cross, & it's only a matter of time before he scores from a free kick. He is developing into a very useful player for us, though he is much under the radar when praise is given out
