I like your reviews Mr Rules, but you havent sold me this one. I shudder at the prospect of watching a film because of the great acting. I hate actors. Honest I do. Especially the ones that tell you how that had to really get into the part and how hard it was. OH FUCK OFF YOU PRETENTIOUS C UNTS.

Come on now Mr Colonel, surely you aren't implying Rocco Siffredi and Peter North don't get 100% into their parts and how hard it was.

Just finished watching the 6th and final episode....(watched them all in 2 sittings but could have watched them all in one go if Pools weren't playing)....and that quote above is 100% correct!!!! It's by far the best ever True Crime Documentary I have ever seen....I doubt I will ever watch anything close to this ever again....Amazing Film Making!!!!

Robert Durst got arrested Saturday 14th March 2015....the eve of the Final Episode being aired!!!!

This is a MUST WATCH....and if you don't know the background to the story....keep it like that and just watch it!!!!

Words cannot describe how good it is....10/10!!!!

Anyone know if this is on Netflix?

I'm not sure but you need to watch it....and give yourself time to watch all in one sitting cos when 1 episode finishes you HAVE TO watch the next one!!!!!

In fact it's my first full day off today and I.m full of cold/man flu so I'm gonna watch all six episodes again!!!!

I feel a tad unwell with a temperature of 39 deg but I'm starting to watch it now to take my mind off this fever. Will report back after first episode.

Whilst I'm not feeling well, so it's no surprise I didn't have a good night's sleep last night, my mind kept going over 'those' bits of the final episode and it was disturbing. My wife said the same.

I'd advise against watching episode 6 just before you go to bed. There's no gore or anything similar but it's a bit of a mind-fuck.

I haven't been a big fan of Peter Kay in the past but I've just seen episode 2 (dogging) of his Car Share sitcom and it was the first time for a while I've had a good belly laugh.

Because they never had a plot to start with.

Because they reflect life?

I don't mind fillums with 'poor' endings providing the fillum is realistic. There doesn't need to be a happy ending - in fact, there doesn't even need to be an 'ending' for me to enjoy it. Just view it as a snapshot.

If you struggled with the first 20 minutes you would have had no chance getting through the brutal last third of it!

I was absolutely fine with the new cast - I think they've been solid.

My problem with series two is the change in format. I loved the looking back on a previous case structure and I think it's been to the detriment of the show that they've moved away from that.

Assuming they do a series three, hopefully they'll move back to that format.

But he said 'crap endings' not 'unhappy endings' or 'no endings'.
My guess is the crap endings have to do with writers being given deadlines, so there's not enough time to properly work out the themes and plot.

The other reason of course is that the writers might just be crap.

Just watched 'The Jinx' because of your recommendation on here, Muttley! Can't believe the ending and I'm itching to find out what happens next (which is happening right now!).

What an oddball Durst is though, eh!

Been telling everyone else to watch it, it was that good!

Thanks for the recommendation Mr Rules.

For you fans of the original series of Walking Dead, 'Fear the Walking Dead' has now started.
I enjoyed the original at first but lost interest, might end up watching this at some point in the future but like the second series of True Detective I'm in no hurry.

One series I've not seen mentioned on here is Boardwalk Empire, I loved that. Tyrant is also a good watch as is Mr Robot.

I watch too much TV! Not really seen any films lately though.

Gotta agree with Boardwalk Empire, that was a really good series.

Quite a few lads at work watch a series called Vikings and they all say it's very good, that might have to go in the 'to watch' pile

Some very good recommendations there. Was having a look through Netflix today and found "Supermensch, The legend of Shep Gordon" something minded me that Chris Evans had talked about this so gave it a go and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Up to episode 7 of Narcos. Absolutely unbelievable, one of the best shows I've watched in a long time.

Went to see Sicario and The Martian last week, Sicario is a bit boring and doesn't really make much sense. The Martian however was a fantastic film, really really good.

Watched a good film the weekend called Beasts of no nation starring Idris Elba

Its about child soldiers in a African country and is a bit brutal at times, the kid who plays the main role is excellent

Just finished the series "Scream" on Netflix based on the films, quite predictable but a decent watch if you're struggling for stuff to watch.
