Just Watched This....

Unbroken 6/10 just watched it thinking it might be really good since the Coen brothers wrote it then I realised Angelina Jolie directed it. It's not terrible but it lacks anything to make it worthwhile watching.

I'm reading the book at the moment and upto now it's 10/10!!!!

Read American Sniper aswell a couple of months ago....also very good 9/10....watching the film in a bit!!!!

Look forward to seeing what you make of the film as no doubt the story itself would of been very interesting but felt the film let itself down. Could of been so much more.

Watched this the other day, good film and will definitely win awards, 9/10

Saw this the other day as well, 4/10. Falls into the trap of a predictable twist for the sake of it.

Just finished watching 'Get On Up' The James Brown Story....

Wasn't really a big James Brown fan until watching this....fantastic film with Funky Music that's got Soul....9/10!!!!

Wasn't too fussed on watching it, thought Cooper was a comedy actor only but quite enjoyed it, 7/10.

Sorry about the massive picture, enjoyed this one till near the end when physics got a bit hollywood. 8/10.

Really enjoyed this one, Cumberbatch was very good. 9/10.

American Sniper....was ok but the book was much much better....6/10!!!!

The Imitation Game....really really enjoyed it....9/10!!!!

Interstellar....haven't seen it but looks very good....going to Starwood now to hire it on Beetamax!!!!

BTW....just finished reading the book '12 Years A Slave'....the film is absolute dogshit compared to the book....even though I enjoyed the film....but the book was amazing and includeds lots of stuff the film missed out!!!!

I still haven't watched it, started to twice but the beginning had me wandering while I was waiting for it to start properly. Eventually I just turned it off. Will have to sit down and make myself watch it at some point!

I watched it the other day and still haven't got a clue what it was about....but it was brilliant!!!! :laugh:

Gonna' have to watch it again....and again....and probably again to know what it's about!!!!

The trailer is superb....as always!!!!

Me and Becca started watching this last night....

Watched 4 episodes back to back last night and watched the final 4 today....( never even listened to Pools)....absolutely thrilling and top top cast....James Nesbitt was as always superb....cracking series....10/10!!!!

Still yet to see Nightcrawler but heard very good things. If you like Gyllenhaal then give Enemy a go from last year...

He was talking about this....'The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst'!!!!

Just finished watching the 6th and final episode....(watched them all in 2 sittings but could have watched them all in one go if Pools weren't playing)....and that quote above is 100% correct!!!! It's by far the best ever True Crime Documentary I have ever seen....I doubt I will ever watch anything close to this ever again....Amazing Film Making!!!!

Robert Durst got arrested Saturday 14th March 2015....the eve of the Final Episode being aired!!!!

This is a MUST WATCH....and if you don't know the background to the story....keep it like that and just watch it!!!!

Recently watched these....

Expected more and took 2 goes but it was ok....7/10!!!! confised

Just finished watching this one....really enjoyed it with breathtaking performances by the 2 lead roles....9/10!!!!

Saved the best till last....

I usually hate costume/period type dramas but this is something special....how Timothy Spall wasn't nominated for best actor at the Oscars I'll never know....his portrayal of Turner is possibly the best performance on film I've ever seen....Spall is surely one of the greatest actors of all time....the story is great to and opens your eyes to the life of a great British Artist....10/10!!!!

Whilst Timothy Spall is excellent in Mr Turner, it is overall quite a dull fillum during which I dropped off to sleep for a couple of minutes (although I was watching it late in a warm cinema).

I am still glad I watched it but it is an acquired taste if you're not a fan of the history of art.

I'm not sure but you need to watch it....and give yourself time to watch all in one sitting cos when 1 episode finishes you HAVE TO watch the next one!!!!!

In fact it's my first full day off today and I.m full of cold/man flu so I'm gonna watch all six episodes again!!!!
