If it comes off, I can think of one Pools player who will be glad he wont have to play against him again for a couple of seasons.

Don't I know it even know if it's correct

I've heard this lad is just about to sign for us. Nathan Thomas the rapid winger who gave Scott Harrison nightmares against Mansfield earlier in the season.

He's a Boro lad apparently and after travelling around a bit he wanted to come closer to home and play some regular football. His clip here looks really good!

He also scored against us last year away to Plymouth. Not sure why he's moved about so much at a young age but he looks good! Certainly better than what we've got and can fill any void left by Naismith.

Anybody know anything about him?

Also, Josh Pritchard is playing in a reserve game as a trialist v Gateshead today. Ex Man Utd and Fulham youth. Last played for Gillingham in League One. Quality player would definitely add to the team in my opinion if they sign him.

God I hope Harrison doesn't watch that video, the nightmares will start again! It's already gave me flashbacks

Nathan Thomas turned out for us in the Northern League. Looked quick but lacked an end product. Can only judge him on what I saw of him but we had players more suited to that level than he was.

Just had a look on the Mansfield Forum and they've been talking about this potential move for a few days. They say they can see why we want him after how he played against us but there next game he was awful but surely that's just the life of a league 2 winger, if he did it every week then you wouldn't be at this level.

Most say they would prefer to keep him but a fair mix on if he should start every week; its the debate over do you want a 9/10 one week and 5 the next or a constant 6.5. Personally one of each is ideal, we have plenty of steady players but an enigma with the potential to win you a game is something we don't really have.
