Click on link and article quotes Moore as saying there's standing water on the pitch. Shoddy journalism.

On Tuesday, when it had absolutely lashed down for two days.

Shoddy reading

No Moore was on the pitch on Tuesday, it's what he says. The article is from today. Pools have said today the pitch is holding up well. The weather was appalling on Monday and Tuesday so it was probably at its worst on Tuesday.

If it had been called off today, it wouldn't be in the Mail until next week! Surprised they manage to get match reports out on the Monday.
Not that I bother to read the Mail anymore. And as for the website.............. banghead What an embarrassment our 'local' rag is. Can't see it lasting much longer

It must be difficult getting the detail right, when in the middle of a four ball, with the people giving the detail.

I mean, you must concentrate on that 8 iron shot into the 7th.

The first half of his nasty little message was a huge contradiction and the second half included maths that wouldn't trouble a ten year old.

But I'm the thick one.

The forecast doesn't look too bad between now and kick off, no more heavy rain anyway. A bit of light stuff in the morning but none come kick off.

Hope it's right and you never know we might see some football tomorrow fingers crossed.

Its forecast to feel bloody cold tomorrow, wth potential heavy rain during the game.

Under those circumstances why would any fan, especially millhouse terrace lovers, want the game on?

The pitch will be cut up to fook, rendering it useless for the rest of the season.

Just as well we play no football.

Wynyard Golf Club never seems to be affected by the bad weather, maybe we should liaise with their groundsman to see if they can give any advice.

Wouldnt surprise me if there is a game on the vic prior to the derby match tomorrow. An IOR v Journo x1 match.

all funds going to the BWC.

No bloody wonder those pesky frost covers have suddenly stopped the rain.
