Don't let facts get in the way of the loids argument. They have to use the fans owned excuse for the fact the people they have in charge can't subtract expenditure from income and get a profit, not plan above your means or find their arse with both hands.

Any clown knew the move to Darlo would have taken about 3 times what they thought minimum while at the same time not spunking money down the drain which they have. I feel sorry for the fans they seem to have people running the club with about as much financial experience as jack and the beanstalk

There's no evidence IOR or JPNG have put any money into Pools for 4 or 5 years. With FFP we can only spend on wages what we generate in income, that income has come from league and television money, player sales, sponsorship, and the fact we have over 3,000 season ticket holders.

Indeed JPNG said quite clearly they donr have money to invest but instead want to improve the finances by attracting investment and sponsorship.

I don't think we would be any worse off being fan owned, indeed in many ways we would probably be better off judging by how the other fan owned clubs in our division are faring.

Why are you still needing to raise more funds then if your run so well?

Loan Star I normally respect what you post on here, but our season ticket prices are now on a par with a fair few of the Northen clubs in our division. We still sold over 3000. To suggest this is down to something we did four or five seasons ago, or because of a change of ownership, is borderline insanity. I'm really struggling to follow your logic when you suggest that over 3,000 people will pay £250 for a season ticket because we charged £100 a few seasons ago ? Surely a hike in prices would have the opposite effect ?

The average attendance refuses to sink to the levels you keep predicting every season, despite the away end being borderline empty most weeks, and the shite performances witnessed most games. People go out of blind loyalty, not because it was cheap 4 year ago, or because the owners changed. To be honest a lot of people think that other than swapping Hodcroft for Coxhall, absolutely nothing has changed as far as the day to day running of the club is concerned.

We have had 5 or 6 shite seasons in a row, the attendances havent dropped much, and are still average for this division. No idea why you keep saying year after year they will fall away. The price went up about 40% after a shite season 2014-2015, people still bought them. Perhaps we just have loyal fans ?
