I thought I read yesterday that Derby have sold out their allocation already. I think people were a little disrespectful to Derby when the draw came out, big traditional club with good following. One of those games where as the home end won't sell out shame we can't offer larger allocation to away fans really.

It literrally is impossible to find out off your own back, impossible.

Apart from googling 'Hartlepool United Christmas opening hours' that took an inconvenient and time consuming three seconds that is;

Thanks PJ but sadly the twice Iv been, it should have been open according to them times. That's presuming the ticket office is covered under the club shop?

As I asked, if Mark Simpson can confirm on what times I can give the club some money please? Not wasting a 3rd lot of petrol.

The club shop is a separate concern and nothing to do with the ticket office

When is deadline for season ticket holders to keep their seats because unless I'm mistaken is about 8 days till on paper our biggest game of the season? Maybe it's tomorrow and people had to buy them on a Tuesday between 9.23am and 10.34am at the secret door to keep their seat?

The Club Offices open at 9am on Monday morning, Ticket Office at 10am. But if you turn up before 10 then the people on reception will be able to sell you tickets.

We've had several stories on the Official Website linking to stories about opening hours over Christmas - the reason we don't mention Ticket Office opening hours is basically for the reason above - that we sell tickets from Main Reception outside of those hours.

You could always call (either Ticket Office or Reception) to order your Derby tickets over the phone. Then we'll send them out by carrier pigeon...

But if you don`t advertise the fact you sell tickets from reception, you can imagine people make up shit like masonic nipple tweaks and pigeons, help yourselves out man banghead

Absolutely a joke, deadline for season ticket holders to get get tickets 5 January but ticket office been closed from Tuesday 29th December. Aware that a number of people who have been down to try and purchase tickets.

Also have friends travelling up from Derby to buy tickets in the pools end on the day.

But will they be on the system? Or have we scrapped that?

Absolute piss take - I read on the official site the ticket office was open until 4 on Tuesday (29th) so I went over with my old man, from Thornaby (ok not a million miles away but still far enough to be pissed off) arriving about 2:45 only to be welcomed by shutters. Amazingly the club shop was still open so we went in there and asked only to be told the ticket office wasn't very busy and decided to shut up early. What kind of business works like that?

I was quite shocked when I went past today to see that Asda was open. Along with a few others down the Retail Park.

Apart from Verills and Pools ticket office, does nothing shut for Christmas and New Year anymore ? Where do people find the money to keep shopping, and shopping, and shopping, or is it all shoplifters and window shoppers ?

Was the club offices open though?

The Smiths Arms in Greatham used to work like that.
Went in there one evening a couple of years ago and tried to order a meal and was told similar, it's a quiet night so we sent the chef home!
Needless to say never bothered going back......can't understand why it struggles to stay open now.
