80's tv show help

Was talking to mate last night about tv shows when we where growing up and he was on about a American one that was on a Friday night about a couple who travelled across america each week and there was elvis songs all the way through the show

I don't recall it does it ring a bell with anyone or has he dreamt it ?

Defenitely Neat & Tidy. Utterly bizarre. The characters were called Nick Neat and Tina Tidy and the title music was Guitar Man by Elvis. The programme was totally mad and it was about the two characters who were always fleeing their respective pursuers .Hells Angels and Convent Nuns!

It was class! Can anyone remember the Canadian guy who had a sort if stand-up with sketches show early 80s called Kelly Monteith? Brilliant show, then he just like, nashed off!
